APA National 2018 – New Orleans

Each year community planning geeks from across the country flock to the National Planning Conference held by the American Planning Association (APA). This year’s conference is in the Big Easy. New Orleans will soon be overrun by planning nerds discussing everything from form-based code to preparing for autonomous cars.

Although some activities will start before April 21st, most of the sessions don’t start until that Saturday morning. I’ll be there, occasionally checking in to provide some commentary. Spatting about some of the sessions and activities that I’ll be attending. I’ll also be tweeting and posting to Instagram at times as well.

Needless to say, as one of the planning geeks attending the conference, I’ll be flush with ideas for posts that will appear on Rural Resurrection over the next few months.
